Denis is a chauffeur that Pam normally arranges for guests for airport transfers, which means that the drive from the airport to the apartment is an easy journey, any stress free start to a holiday is great.
After the quick trip from the airport the next several hours were spent on the balcony admiring the magnificent view of the harbour.. it was hard to stop smiling, this is what holidays are all about.

There is a large shopping centre at Tigne Point a few minutes walk and the Strand is full of restaurants so eating out is easy.
This exchange is not so much a home exchange but you have the impression that you are staying in a luxury resort in a top tourist destination.
This is a tourist city and there is just so much for you to do .... If you want to.
A boat trip to Gozo is highly recommended and I am sure you could spend days exploring the many smaller villages on Malta.
Pam is extremely well organised and has a full list of instructions and brochures of things to do.
The apartment is often rented by others when Pam is not living there.
The swimming pool of the Strand is available to use by guests.

I am fortunate that I will be coming back to this wonderful apartment in Malta and next time there will be so many more things for me to do as I will be more organised.
Exploring the island will be high on the list of things to do ... this trip was more about just staying close to Sliema and Valletta.
